Abstract:

The handling of high resolution archive files in daily business applications is sometimes inconvenient. For better usability, derivatives have to be created for end-user-friendly environments. Correct handling of metadata, renaming, logging of the process history and validating checksums are only a few requirements that have to be implemented according to specific user requirements.

Cube-Tec has developed a post digitization workflow that creates derivatives in an automatic process. First experience of a recent local installation at Library of Congress will be presented together with the client.
